Creta’s safety features include Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hillstart Assist Control (HAC), Anti-Braking System (ABS) and Rear Parking Assist System. ESC provides optimum braking for each wheel to assure vehicle’s balance and direction. HAC prevents any rollback after starting a uphill movement. This feature detects the uphill lane and activates the braking system as soon as the driver begins to accelerate. ABS prevents any slippage on slippery roads. Other features ensuring safety includes day/night rear view mirror and rear parking sensors with camera.

The latest New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) Crash Test for Latin America and the Caribbean has given a prodigious four star rating out of five. The SUV has further received four stars in Adult Occupant Protection and 3 stars in Child Occupant Protection.

Hyundai is offering three engine options for the buyers to opt their necessities. These are 1.4 liter CRDi Diesel engine, a larger 1.6 liter Diesel engine and a 1.6 liter gasoline engine too. This has been combined with six – speed manual or automatic transmission gearbox. There will five trim levels, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX(O). Each of these engines are present in different trim models. Hyundai will be offering seven color options and also few dual color options like black and white exterior, or a red and black exterior color toning.

The exterior design is smooth and sleek. The headlights and taillights will be redesigned along with the alloy wheels for the fresh look. The front will be improved with a cascading grille, restyled reflectors and fresh bumpers which are believed to add elegance to the new look.

The interiors are not expected to have many changes except for the freshly designed dashboard, multi – functional steering wheel and the advanced infotainment system. The advanced audio system comes with a 1 GB internal memory. Navigation system has both audio and video compatibility with a touch-reactive screen. Fully automatic temperature control, adjustable driver seat and key less entry are additional set of features.
