2017 Hyundai Elantra Safety Features
The standard safety features include Stability Control, Traction Control, Child Safety Locks, Brake Assist, Integrated Turn Signal Mirrors, and Daytime Running Lights. Stability Control automatically senses when the car reaches the limits of mal-handling and automatically reduces engine power and/or activates braking assist to prevent the driver from losing control. The Anti-Lock Brake System automatically senses when a tire stops rotating under extreme braking and alters the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate. This enhances the car’s ability to turn while braking. There is Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Intervention, Forward Collision Mitigation and Blind Spot Monitoring System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert in the top trim Elantra.
