Chevrolet Malibu is a four door, five passenger midsize car which is all set to compete in 2018 in the world of family sedan. The 2018 Malibu will be the third generation vehicle from Chevrolet. The first generation Malibu was launched in 1964 and it lasted till 1983. This was followed by the second generation Malibu in 1997 which is still on the roads.
2018 Chevrolet Malibu Engine
The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu will house an Ecotec 160 HP Turbo 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine which produces a torque of 184 lb-feet. This will be paired with six speed automatic transmission. It is expected to give a fuel efficiency of 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highways. The Chevrolet will also give a more powerful and fuel efficient 250 HP Turbo 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine as an option. This comes paired with eight speed automatic transmission. These all have been mated with front wheel drive. The all new Chevrolet Malibu will be offered in L, LS, LT and Premier trims alongside the hybrid model.

The 2018 Malibu has been redesigned to a great extent. Even though the exteriors remain similar to the previous generation Malibu, the interiors have been given a new appearance. The new generation Malibu will run over 16 inches Steel wheels. The body has been delineated in a sleek and lengthy manner. The front is hefty with the classic metal grille which lends it a heavy look. The side mirrors will be power adjustable and manual folding. It will be equipped with keyless entry and ignition, theft deterrent system and remote panic alarm system. The interiors are expected to be extremely spacious and the seats are well built to accommodate tall persons swiftly. The front seats will be power adjustable for maximum comfort. The responsive and intuitive infotainment system will boast an 8 inch touch screen interface and 6 speaker system with smartphone integration (via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), a rear view camera and a WiFi hotspot.
