The Santa Fe SUV made its debut back in the year 2000. At the time of its debut, the Santa Fe used to be a compact crossover but a lot has changed since then and the car has taken up the mid-size segment. Three generations of the Santa Fe have made their appearance in the market since 2000. The last gen model of the car was introduced at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The fourth-gen that is the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is ready to make its appearance. It was introduced at the Hyundai Motorstudio that was being held at Goyang. The 2019 Santa Fe brings a lot new to the table, it is going to get newly improved exterior along with fresh interiors. It is also going to feature an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission system. In the U.S, this car has been the best seller and 1.5 million units have already been sold. With all the solid changes the Santa Fe will definitely be able to tackle the competition and attract a lot of buyers.

The overall look is a bit comparable to the Hyundai Kona. The 2019 model year Hyundai Santa Fe comes up with a fresh design and brings a lot of changes as compared to the previous model.

On the front fascia, the first thing that one notices is the reshaped headlight housings which look much more aggressive. For the daytime running lights, LEDs have been used. The Composite Light design on the Santa Fe makes it stand out of the crowd. The Cascading Grille design of the company dominates the center position on the front fascia of the car. The silver trim line provided on the front which connects the two headlight housings gives the appearance of the car some extra boost.

The all-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe carry forwards its muscular and tall stance. Different character lines have been provided on the side fascia of the car in order to increase the overall appearance.  With the change in the positioning of the side mirror, Hyundai claims that it has increased the outward visibility.

On the rear end of the car, it gets narrow taillights. The roof spoiler on the car completes the overall look. The upcoming model is also larger in terms of dimensions that the present model.

Thanks to the increase in the dimensions of the car it gains extra space on the inside as well. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe offers better elbow room and thigh support than its predecessor on the back row. The legroom is also pretty impressive. The placement of the cup holders is better than before and they have been placed at more convenient spots. The makers have after keeping in mind the requirements of the customers added an additional trim which offers three-rows known as the Santa Fe XL. We might also get to see an eight-passenger version of the car in the near future.

The Santa Fe does not disappoints and comes with all the features loaded. You name it and you will find it on the Santa Fe. A very useful and unique feature that the Santa Fe offers is a Rear Seat Occupant system which is very useful if you have a child or a pet at home.

The 2019 version of the car gets AVN 5.0 navigation system when you choose to buy the higher trims while on the base models the makers offer a 7.0-inch touchscreen. The best feature is the optional heads-up display that provides a virtual 8.5-inch digital image on the windshield, this makes the experience a lot more futuristic and engaging.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine

The all-new Santa Fe will come with different engine variants to choose from among which there is going to be two gas options and one single diesel variant. There is going to be a 2.2-liter CRDi turbodiesel engine capable of delivering a whopping 320 pound-feet of torque and 200 horsepower. The gasoline engine is going to be a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a capability of delivering 232 horsepower and the last option is going to be a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine which will give an output of 185 horsepower. All these engines will come along with an eight-speed automatic transmission system.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Release Date and Price

There has been no official announcement about the release date and the cost of the car but it is expected to make it to the market by the end of the year 2018 and is going to cost somewhat around twenty-six thousand dollars for the base variant.
